hmm...

Aside from the fact that another one of my posts is up on Buckeye Firearms today, I've got nothing to write about. (& try not to crash the site like you did last time, okay? I'd like the fine people who work so hard on that site to continue liking me.)

So I'm going to tend to my garden, go to the range and then visit a friend afterwards. I will also, sometime today, try to answer my email.

Feel free to fill up my comments with any questions you may have about, well...anything. I'll happily answer them in another post.

And to keep you amused in the meantime, here's a photo of one of my sneaky attempts at humor in the book displays at the library. No one has ever noticed but I get a chuckle every time I walk by...

(enlarge to read the titles of all 6 books, starting with the top one and then moving left to right)

  4. I laughed out loud. What other goofy things do you do at the library to keep yourself (and your readers) amused?

  6. Way too subtle for your typical patron.

  7. I knew there was a reason I never had kids. Aside from the fact it's so much more fun to be the evil uncle to my friend's kids.

  8. Excellent subliminal humor. I love it! The subtle can be the most profound at times, no?
Had a great time at The Brewery last night. Thanks for saving me from a potentially awkward evening.
Is Sophie Dahl (author of Playing with the Grownups) any relation to Roald Dahl? You can probably figure out why I like his work. (c:

  9. Danny, Sophie Dahl is the granddaughter of Roald. You should search for images of her - not only an author, she's also a very beautiful model.
