Take one lime, cut it into pieces. Add a handful of fresh peppermint and about 5 tablespoons of sugar. (more or less, according to your taste) Smash all of these things together for a while. Pour in about a cup of white rum, stir. Strain into two tall glasses over ice. Fill up the remainder of the glasses with seltzer. Garnish with a bit of lime and mint and enjoy!
(we made up this recipe. I don't know if it's "correct" or not - but it's very good!)
