Actually, Alamo Day is March 6. But thanks for the reminder. Texas Independence Day [the day a legislative body Declared independence is March 2.
For me the TRUE independence day is April 21. That's the day Texans defeated the forces of the Tyrant Santa Ana on the battlefield now known as the San Jacinto battlefield.
