Well, I gotta tell ya, if I ever found out I was going to throw out a first pitch I would practice too. I'd probably see if I could get my shoulder loose enough to throw a curve. ;-)

If you watched Red Eye, they had a different camera angle which the White House didn't have control over and you see he threw the ball like a basketball.

This reminds me of the West Wing episode where Jeb Bartlet is practicing his pitching, preparing to throw out a first pitch.
