One of mine has figured out that rather than lapping it up like a "normal" cat she'd rather stick a paw in it and lick it from there. I'm convinced its some kind of IQ test I'm badly failing.
The best part is when the cat just get's TOTALLY committed to the whole enterprise and leaves it's head under the stream: "Hey! This isn't so bad! And so much more convenient, too."
This cat was obviously working up to suicide. If you listen closely at the beginning, you will hear some dreadful slightly out of tune excuse for cool jazz riffs. Fluffy there was trying to wash the sound out of his brain and it wasn’t working. The cat, wisely, had had enough and was ready to end it all.
Toward the end, you will hear some much more in tune and smoother jazz being played by a sax. The cat thought he had successfully purged the earlier poor excuse for jazz from his grey matter and figured it was safe to return to his normal routine on sleeping 23.5 hours out of the day.
If it had been Kenny G., we’d be mourning the poor feline today not laughing at his awful plight.
Be polite, please. (also I'd like to add that I reserve the right to delete any and all comments that I find offensive, argumentative, or just plain tiresome.)

And I thought that my cat that slept in a leaky sink was odd....(he would stop the drain and it would fill up with water)

ReplyDeleteJim
I have NEVER seen a cat do that... LOL

ReplyDeleteThat's what those long whiskers are for....to channel water off his nose!
ReplyDeleteSee the part where it was letting the water stream "scratch" him behind his ear? Smart.
ReplyDeleteHe's learned to use his face to channel the water to his mouth. Smarter.
Of course, you know he'll wipe his head and face on some unsuspecting soul's pant leg during the leg rub. Smartest.
wv: "fullyzat"
Heh. That's how I used to shower in college...
ReplyDeleteWe have a cat that's about that crazy. Not scared of water, but also probably not bright enough to figure it out.
ReplyDeleteA dog would have messed the whole kitchen up.
Gotta love cats.

Betcha if he got his feet wet he'd completely flip out.
ReplyDeleteIf that cat's peers see him acting like that, they'll kick his ass.
