My black cat, with a mean streak, is NEWT, which is actually an acronym for Nasty Evil Wicked Thing.
My suicidal Tom, who fights maniacally in spite of strategic amputations, is FONZI. This, of course, is an acronym for Feline Of Near Zero Intelligence.
Do these count as human names? I really prefer being a software engineer.
I see nothing there to disqualify you. We have six cats as well, and while some of them have names not normally found being attached to people, ever since Frank Zappa named his daughter Moon Unit, it seems anything goes for people names. So technically, our cats have what might be people names.
I guess I get something resembling half credit: I named mine for Greek goddesses, and get away with having librarian as a small part of my job as a whole.
The comments on the link got pretty personal. My 2 cents are that cats or not, a good librarian is someone that can distill a great deal of information into something helpful. Useful ability to have around.
Be polite, please. (also I'd like to add that I reserve the right to delete any and all comments that I find offensive, argumentative, or just plain tiresome.)
Note: Only a member of this blog may post a comment.
Seems it was inevitable.
ReplyDeleteI'm confused.

ReplyDeleteHmm. It seems I missed my calling. I was supposed to be a librarian.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if your still watching Dollhouse, but S. 2 Ep. 6 has Summer Glau with librarian glasses. . . on a chain.

ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, it's good to know that you're not fighting destiny. :)
ReplyDeleteThe sad thing is, this works equally well for IT tech support.
ReplyDeleteMy cats are named Gabriel and Constance, and my car is name Athena.
This was pretty much the reasoning that I followed, except the cats thing.
