linkd

Some of the best things about being a blogger are the links your readers will send to you. I can always tell when a topic or news item has gone viral because I'll get a bunch of emails about it over a number of days. Being supplied with easy blogfodder is great, but it's also very interesting to discover what else my readers are reading. (I must say that I'm appalled & telling your mothers!) Like when the makers of BaconSalt came out with that bacon-flavored lube - its actual existence is still one of those things I decided that I'd rather not verify (librarian curiosity be damned) but man...when it hit the 'net, it went everywhere and in about two days I had an inbox full of emails about it.

The most recent example of this phenomenon is this photo of a ninja librarian via Hawtness, (be warned, some images NSFW-ish, I think.):

Finally! My nemesis, revealed!
