I'm a cat person because...

they do things like this:

Besides, dogs smell bad and stare at you all the time - I get enough of that at the library.

*wee Fae snuggling with her "little" brother Ronan, nose buried in his fur, is a Very Big Deal indeed. It only took 5 years, but she's finally getting over her runt-of-the-litter shyness and making friends.

  1. I'm a cat person too, but cats DO rank pretty high up on the "I'm staring at you for no reason" list.

  2. Cats stare like they hate you . . . and let's be honest, they reek. But they're growing on me as the years pass by. I quite like Gremlin, but then, he lives a few hundred miles away.

  3. My puppehs snuggle like that, too! And Tucker grooms Harley! And they don't smell! Much. Except for their breath. And if they have gas.

I like cats, too. But Silver is extremely allergic. :(

    Very cute pic. :D

That's solid gold, right there. Nearly cost me a keyboard.

  5. You're a cat person because... well, let's just face it, cool people are cat people. :D

  6. Dogs smell. Cats reek (litter box? Yeesh.)
I'm allergic. And not "cool people". But as long as I just read n' link you and Tam, I will not break out in killer hives. Satisfied, I am. But uncool.

  7. Alright, mine can stink up a litter box alright, but other than that they are only intrusive when they want something. They also has a convenient tendancy to sleep by my feet so they warm up sooner.

I try to remember this when they tip over one of my nice double-walled pyrex coffee cups... (To the tune of about 20 bucks)

  8. The only valid reason for keeping a cat is that the dog gets tired of the same old dry food all of the time.

  10. Breda, your cat looks remarkably like my cat.

Did you steal my cat? ;)

  11. Yeah, but will those felines swim out and bring back that duck you just shot over the lake or scare off those burglers peeking in your window ? However, if I owned a barn there is no doubt I'd have a couple of cats around.
