Starting one week from today...

...Bonnie and I will be available weekly for your listening pleasure.

B B & Guns is going to cover a smart, sassy mix of topics including, but not limited to, guns and politics. Along with occasionally interviewing a fascinating guest, we'll cover the gamut - the 2nd Amendment, cats, turtles, and guinea pigs (oh my!), home brewing, shooting, book reviews, zombie preparedness, recipes (bacon and non), weird news, pop culture, hot topics - you name it and we'll probably talk about it eventually. And since it'll be a call-in show, we're also hoping to talk to you.

The show debuts at 6PM EST - are you in?

  2. I'm in. Hell, I might even call in for a change.

I assume this'll be slightly cleaner than the average VC?

  3. VC isn't nearly as bad as 4chan.

    (OK, I'll shut up now)

Oh, well, the iPhone has plenty of storage capacity...

  7. Call in? My rule for myself is:

It is better to keep silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

But I'll listen if I can...

  12. Download option?

    1800hrs Romeo time is a tad tight. . .

  13. Will it be available as a Podcast? I'm assuming by cleaner you mean the audio will be better than Gun Nuts Radio.

Congrats on the new radio show!

  14. A bit early in the afternoon for me, but I'll try. If I can get through the firewall at work any way.

  16. I actually stumbled across your blog recently after reading about the NRA show in North Carolina. I've been catching up listening to you over at Gun Nuts Radio (currently on the 12/9/2008 podcast so I've got a ways go go) when I popped over here after seeing the note on the Gun Nuts blog.

However, when I looked for your new podcast I did not see it thru iTunes anywhere. Is this something that will need to get populated after your first episode? If not I'll have to work on figuring out how to listen to you since I'll still be at work when you go live at 3pm EST. ^_^

  17. WOW sounds good. Now I will have another gun podcast to listen to. As a former podcast host I want to commend you for signing up to put in the time and effort. Also if the title is going to stay B&B guns that even better. I assume you chose that to give an allusion to the famous LA gun store that the cops "rearmed" from during the North Hollywood shootout.

  21. Thought i had asked already but I guess it got lost in the ether of the net. I am absolutely ignornat when it comes to live radio on the Internet. How would one go about signing on to hear the show, or if I am at work at the time then downloading it for later listening pleasure?

    Thanks,
    Glenn b

  22. Glenn B-

Use the link for Blog Talk Radio at the top of the post.

When the show goes on the air there will be a button that says "PLAY/CHAT".

You don't need to sign in to BTR to listen, but you can register if you want to chat.

  23. Thanks for the tips, I will probably register for the site.

    All the best,
    Glenn B
