Nice to see the old geezer getting some companionship even if only a dummy that he can adore. I could only wish my male Hermann’s Tortoise paid attention to my female Hermann’s Tortoise like that.
My male pays almost no mind to my female. I have had the female for a few years, since she was about a year old, and she is probably well ready to breed by now. I just got the male a couple of months back. I am hopeful, that next spring, after hibernation, they will be well acquainted with one another, well enough to do what comes naturally in the springtime.

Heh. Post title reminded me of seeing 'Inception' over the weekend. I just couldn't help a stage-whispered, "...That bwessed awangement, That DWEEM within a DWEEM..."
