opt out

Sorry, NRA Store. I don't want any of your essential "man cave gear." Take me off your email list.

(Although I kind of want to see what stereotypes they use to advertise to women - pink .38 snubbies for the little lady!)

  1. One of the gun rags I get had a two page ad spread for, uhm, male enhancement. And Jeff Foxworthy is speaking at the annual meeting.

    Just saying.

  2. I am a member but there are times I wish I was not...we get so much crap from them. The other thing that irritates me is how they start trying to renew our memberships with about 9 months to go! I got fussy with them about it but that hasn't helped.

  3. I was sick of the term "man cave" the first time that I heard it.

  4. Jeff Foxworthy? Really? If the NRA wants to expand its membership base it might help to stop with the blatant stereotypes. Gunnies are a diverse and eclectic group AND we don't like to be pigeonholed.

I'm also really sick of all the NRA junk e-mails.

  5. As a new member of the group, is this what I have to look forward to? I guess I'll have to add them to my spam list.

See some of you in Pittsburgh.

  6. It is not my "Man Cave" it is my "armory"!

  7. I am surprised to see two "black rifles" on the back wall of the "cave." I guess they're slowly including more people.

  8. That looked like a sow to me :)

They certainly do a lot of junk mail advertising. They could use that money to so much better effect on other things to fight for the RKBA.

  9. I don't like snubbies, whatever their color, and I'm a girl, give me that painted Bersa instead. However, I agree, just say no to the "man cave" marketing.
