look sharp(shooter!)

Even though it was just her second year of shooting, Jean Yocum maintained an average of 99 out of a possible 100 in all rifle matches - while wearing a stylish 1930's moon manicure. (click to zoom in!)

  3. Bet she was taught by a Marine how to sling up, and taught the correct stance. Obviously she did a dang good job at it! Kinda reminds me of Sherri Gallagher! AND I'll bet she didn't drink a lot of coffee...

  4. Old NFO: That proper use of the sling goes further back than that.

    The brits at the Bisley matches never let up on their complaints about yank shooters abusing a rifle carrying convenience as a steadying device.

    They had to find some excuse for losing, I guess.
