I got hooked up on Skype.com - free and have talked to Mother and Son and brother in far off places, so I find that part very neat. Being mostly a recluse I don't use it for a lot else - but real time talking pictures really works for the guy that had to wait for the mail chopper on a firebase (two weeks to an answer).
I especially like the target pinned up in the background; when I finally talked my l'il sister into going to the range for the first time, I taped hers up to the fridge where Mom could see it.
But of course, the foreground is easy on the eys as well. Lucky man, your husband.
Be polite, please. (also I'd like to add that I reserve the right to delete any and all comments that I find offensive, argumentative, or just plain tiresome.)

Hey, you got it working!
ReplyDeleteWhat'd ya have to do?
I had to go get a new one.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your help earlier!
I wish Google video chat was a little less laggy, but it was nice to see you face-to-face (sort of).
ReplyDeleteNext up, let's try Skype...
KEWT!
ReplyDeletecute capture.

ReplyDeleteWelcome to the 21st Century. You'll like it here. :)
ReplyDeleteI notice that www.hotlibrariancam.com is available, if you're still looking for 1911 funding suggestions.
ReplyDeleteI don't even have a mic, much less a webcam. I'm retro, I guess. (That sounds a lot better than "owner of archaic technology".)
ReplyDeleteBreda,
ReplyDeleteWho tagged you with the objectionable content flag, and do you know what it is about?
I call BS on it, got to be an Obaminator complaining about something they did not like, or a gun hater.
Buckshot
Is it supposed to be a video clip? Nice photo. I'm captivated.

hehehe- Just remember to turn the camera OFF before you start wondering around the house in any state less than you would like to be seen in... :-)
ReplyDeleteNeat-o!
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the target in the background, I thought you were running El Presidente drills.
ReplyDeleteIf you give me a stern look I won't be able to type at all.
