I just got my yearly "gift" for being such a good little employee. Someone - the library director, the library board, someone - got each of us a $25 gift certificate to the local grocery store.
All of my life I could have been an alcoholic. This past New Year's day I cooked 2 legs of lamb, both right, curiously. I used a slop of honey and Guinness Stout and garlic and Turkish smoked black pepper. I had a sip of the beer. Oh how delicious it was. My standard for beer was the Bud I had in high school. If that's all there is to beer, I'm not wasting my time and brain cells on it. But this Guinness stuff is really good. The lamb was delish also.
