Bali.......HEEEEEY!

(as in the song Bali Hai, from the musical South Pacific...you know, Rossano Brazzi and Mitzi Gaynor? Anyone?)

Now, I realize that all of the delegates have to get to the U.N. Conference on Global Climate Change, conveniently held on the gorgeous tropical island of Bali, somehow. But did anyone ever consider "planepooling", something similar to what multitudes of suburb-to-city commuters do every day, to save fuel and cut down on carbon emissions? Because Bali has now issued a warning that they don't have enough parking spaces for all of those private jets.

(and, umm...just a thought, but ever hear of teleconferencing? that sure would save energy)

Might save energy but it wouldn't give them the narcissistic face value that they so dearly crave. Can't you just smell the hypocrisy?
