mini memoir

I was tagged to write a 6 word memoir by Christina LMT. I was flattered that she thinks I'm interesting enough to participate.

Breda: still searching for her superpower.

A very blurry and very tiny me, circa 1978 or 79.
Two years in a row, I was Wonder Woman for Halloween, proudly posing in my homemade tinfoil bulletproof bracelets. I didn't want to be a princess - I wanted to kick ass. I had a Wonder Woman doll, watched the TV show obsessively and even had little Wonder Woman underroos (which, if they were made now in grown-up girl sizes, I would probably still wear ).
For my 30th birthday, my mom got me this - and a cake to match.

    Also, since you're into reading and all...;)
    Take a look at "Don't Look Down" by Jennifer Crusie and Bob Mayer.

    Wonder Woman plays an important, empowering role in that book.

    Yep, I missed it. My new job doesn't allow me to surf as much as I want... that is to say, I don't have access to any blogs at all. They're filtered, so I missed it. :-(
