Hmm...I think the folks at Merriam-Webster have been reading blogs. This year's new words include "netroots", "wing nut", and my personal favorite, "fanboy."

    Wing nut is not at all new or even Interneteniary, sheesh - and I second the asshat comment, plus there's "beclowned."
