  1. It's a ho-hum sort of vid until the last few seconds, at which point it becomes incredibly effective. Probably would have been better as a short video.

Of course, the Left can bring wounded veterans of its own to counter videos like this, until we end up with a Gimp Wars sort of overreach that political campaigns are notorious for.

My apologies for the crude way of describing it, but that's the way it would be described. No offense meant to the warriors involved.

  2. I think I get what Obama sees, the War in Vietnam was a mistake and therefore the War in Iraq is a mistake. But then he listened to the Left, and the Left left the war in Vietnam and the millions to be swallowed by the Communists, and that was the mistake - and America made one more mistake, they never defined the defeat as their responsibility - it has been the media, and the Left never but the rest of the country. Iraq will be a great mistake if we leave it like Vietnam, but then America won't own up to its mistakes, or the part of America that makes the news and History.

Being me, the video worked very well, although I was sure I would see a missing limb before I did, is Obama going to see it? I only hope so, but I don't think he visits Breda, and he should.

  4. Damn... that makes my Biden attack ad look amateurish in comparison. Very good.

  5. Turns out that his name is Joe Cook - his dad was Bob Cook, longtime member of the Illinois Republican Party.

I don't mean that as a slight, either - the Cooks, apparently really believe in the US cause in Iraq.
