  1. It's a poorly designed test, full of jingoist pidgeon-hole questions, and false dichotomies.

  2. Mine is slightly lower but more to the right.

  5. "Most people are too stupid to know what's best for them."

    I really hate this question.

  6. I want to know how the Fascist bubble, Facism being an idealogy that requires .gov ownership/partial ownership of businesses and thereby influence/regulation, goes all the way to full capitalist. Since the government is necessarily interfering with the way markets work under Facism, it can't be considered a full capitalist system.

  7. It's a weak poll, but not bad for broad strokes. I'm right smack dab on Thomas Jefferson and just short of the Unabomber. Who knew?

  8. You're a Libertarian?

So, you have to quit your gig, move back to your mom's basement and plaster it with Ron Paul signs, smoke pot and watch Star Trek while wearing a Wookie suit?

Can you even find a Wookie suit in your petite size?

  9. Seems like a lot of gunbloggers lean Libertarian. Probably because gunbloggers understand the concepts of personal and economic freedom, and why both are ideal.

  10. Raveshike,
That's because fascism and socialism are kissing cousins. However, the commies needed to paint themselves with something other than fascism after WWII thus we have the left/right commie/fascism argument. The best display I ever saw was as a spectrum, like light. with anarchy at one end and fascism/communism at the other end. IMHO that is a much more actuate representation.
indecently I ended up as a solid Capitalist.

  11. Thanks Breda! Solid Libertarian here, too (83%/78% social/economic permissive). My results are up at my blog (with a link here, too).

Ravenshrike: I agree. It seems like Fascist should at least be flipped vertically on the Social axis.

Shootin' Buddy: And just what's wrong with Star Trek? :D

  13. I came up with Libertarian too but I'm not really. How come they don't have a "Constitutionalist" quadrant? Some of the questions were very ambiguous in that they asked my opinion not whether something should be allowed by law. There's a lot of things I'm not crazy about that are perfectly constitutional...
