A breeze is moving through, sending each leaf into motion and filling the world with a soft rustling that competes with the distant sound of a train. Sparrows are a near constant chatter, a dog barks a few streets away and somewhere a child is laughing in pure delight.
And I'm in the shade of a magnolia tree, still enough to listen.
Sounds like a pretty good way to spend an afternoon.

Nice......
ReplyDeleteStill is good.
ReplyDeleteIs Myra keeping you company this afternoon ? It sounds like the perfect day for her to have an outdoors adventure.
ReplyDeleteSounds like it would have been a perfect day for ME to have an outdoor adventure. Sometimes I hate working midnights.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a nice relaxing day! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteWell done B.
ReplyDeleteI tried "moment poetry" too, but I'm not so good at it...
