Finger on the trigger just means little red riding hood is a naughty girl.
I'm not entirely sure that her finger is on the trigger. Poorly placed, yes, but it does appear to be extended.
She is defending herself from the vicious picnic basket.
Think of it as mid-draw on the wolf's angry brother.
