Give a large ice cube to a dog, and it'll lick it as long as it takes to completely melt.
I dropped an ice cube and both our cats pounced on it like a mouse in overdrive. They continued a game of cat soccer until it melted.
Only problem is when they "hide" it under the couch... sigh...

Cats move in the heat? Ours is comatose until the sun goes down. Then its killing time.
