My cousin in Marin County loves his smoker, so it's not clear how much Redneck cred you have. He says he gets invited to all the picnics, in the hopes that he'll do up a Boston Butt.
Of course, he loves shooting his M1A, so maybe your redneck cred is OK. ;-)
Be polite, please. (also I'd like to add that I reserve the right to delete any and all comments that I find offensive, argumentative, or just plain tiresome.)

I read the title and I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought what I thought.

ReplyDeleteI'd need more greens than that. Also, where's the cornbread? Or BBQ baked beans?
ReplyDeleteBe advised - pork butts can, and do, catch on fire in smokers.
ReplyDeleteAnd no, I am not speaking from experience. Of course not.
Smokers are most awesome. Mom does a brisket on hers that I can gum, it's so tender and oh so very tasty.
ReplyDeleteMike can't wait to get a grill and a smoker. We've been living apartment life and he greatly misses cooking meat with fire.
