It's a girl thing.

Coming soon! A new documentary entitled, "A Girl and A Gun".

Watch the trailer at the site, and the clip here:

+ GUN
+ GIRL
EQUALITY & EMPOWERMENT

(and a hell of a lot of fun)

I'm so going to see that - we have a theatre here in Memphis that's sure to play it. Thanks for the heads-up!

Very cool. It's good to know that all is not lost in this country.

Very cool indeed, when I can get to it I'll link to you, sounds extremely upbeat

The NCAA has many games and sports, yet only one coeducational one: rifle. But if you check the list of NCAA rifle schools, you'll note that a growing number of them, due to Title IX quotas, designate rifle as a women-only sport. I hope you'll understand why I find this so eminently puke-uppable.

Convincing females to leave Barbiedom for a real sport? Right on (If you've seen the license plate of NRA's national collegiate director, see me after class). Encouraging them to compete only with other women? You don't want this.

I got my whooped by the Florida Junior State Champion playing trap! I'm proud of it too! She was great and gave me a lot of advice, not that it helped...

;)

Also, I used to shoot Air Rifle in a Junior High (near Chicago, no less) with the AIAC:

I'm proud to say again that the best shot was a 12 year old girl!

You learn a lot from shooting with highly motivated people that keep an open mind!

Yes less, it hurts so good, don't it? Been there, loved it.

Last year the trap club right out in front of Camp Perry sent a teenaged female to the olympic development team. While she was on the team, apparently in response to liability worries, the club canceled its juniors program. We are living in interesting times.

What is nice is that AIAC is at a private school (Christian Liberty Academy) and the insurance hasn't been too bad since it's "only" an air rifle...

The juniors that do rimfire & centerfire pistol and smallbore now train at, surprise (this is Illinois, after all!), the American Legion Post in Morton Grove, home of the FIRST handgun ban...

Interesting? Chayssis, you have no "feckin" idea!
