pix

I parted my hair on the opposite side today to take advantage of Mother Nature's silvery highlights. I have a white stripe and I daresay it gives me a bit of panache, an air of mystery. I took some pictures (okay, a lot of pictures) and only liked one. It is phixred within a nanometer of still recognizably being me...but there's the dark eyes, the dimples, the greying hair and the nose that reminds the husband of a bird of prey. Close enough to get the general idea.

lydia, you gotta unnerstand, for some of us, "bird of prey" is a major turn-on. Mike's hep.

"Greying"? at your age? Surely you're helping it along.

I believe it was the late, great Jackie Gleason who opined, "humina, humina, humina".

:)

Great picture. You're quite the striking young lady...

That's a marvelous picture! --I'm jealous of your stripe. :) I'm just getting random silvering.

"Bird of prey?" Sounds flattering -- Skunk Worls North has quite a few red-tailed hawks: graceful, vigilant, agile and beautiful!

P.S. I lived in Willoughby for 3 years, before (sigh) moving over to the West Side to be closer to work. Then here in September.

Used to be about a block away from Lost Nation.

Well, I don't know if I can consider myself lucky or not. Like my father, my hair is so brown people confuse it for black. I have all of 1 gray hair on my head, and it's in my side burn which is kept short.

The only other gray can be found betwixt my(yuk) nose hair and a few "light brown" hairs in my beard.

My father hits 60 this year and has like, 3 gray hairs on his head. His beard, however is stark white.

So I have that to look forward to.

(PS. The gray looks good on you)

Robb - my brother who is 7 years older than me, has less gray than I do. His beard however, is bright red. An Irish thing, maybe?
