I recently found out that my wonderful friend Lydia and her partner Christine are moving to Colorado on the 2nd of January. So soon!
We make an odd pair, the two of us - but somehow, we work. We've known each other long enough (since high school!) to both be able to laugh at each other, and ourselves, with no hard feelings. Friendships like that are rare, and things to be cherished.
In Christine, my funny and loyal Lydia has finally found someone worthy of her. Christine is lovely, a warm woman with the most delightful giggle...and she makes Lydia happy.
So as Lydia follows her heart and her new found family west, we wish all of them the best that life has to offer. But, oh, will we ever miss them.

I agree, you will have to visit. Thank you for such a touching farewell. You're right, Christine does have the most delightful giggle.
