I like to laugh at the British...

(...but just the stupid ones. If you are British and are reading this, well then, you're pretty smart, aren't you?)

(but is it bulletproof? Click to see)

The Safe Bedside Table was created in response to a report that 50% of people in London were worried about security.

It will soon be outlawed by those idjits, on the grounds it might end with a liberal voter getting hurt.

The British once ruled the world... now they can't sleep safe in their homes...

Ayn Rand was right.

Looks like it unscrews from the base. When seconds count, you're still at the mercy of the criminal, who probably has a gun, anyway.

Stupid.

"Oh, wait, Mr. Criminal. Give me a moment to get my table here ready...okay, thanks! NOW you can attempt to attack me."

I can't make my mind up whether to laugh or cry. It's somewhere in the middle, as I'm languishing aboard USS Blaire (America's slowest aircraft carrier) and have been for many long, long, looonnnngggg years.

Who doesn't like to laugh at the British?

Who would buy that thing instead of an aluminum baseball bat? They haven't banned baseball bats in the UK yet have they?

Breda,
If you like to laugh at the British, then you should get a chuckle out of the fact that MP Boris Johnson is running for Mayor of London.

Well you may laugh at the Brits, but they are smart enough to keep guns out of their society, and their murder rates prove just how much safer their world is than the US

Stumpy

My friend wanted to buy one of these! He was totally willing to pay shipping overseas and everything, but he never got a reply back from the guy who made it...

Well, I guess it's kind of neat. In the "I know it's totally silly" kind of way!
