I'm sure these products are supposed to be all hep and ironical, made for people a hundred times cooler than everyone else, but I think they're just stupid. Here's more pathetic examples of designers (who probably have never shot anything in their entire lives) saying:
"Oooh! Let's add something about guns! or bullets! That will make it "edgy!"
(a rose brooch, made out of ballistic nylon.)
(they refer to it as a talisman.....helloooooo, magical thinking!)

I'm inclined to think that someone willing to pay forty bucks for a Fruit of the Loom with three words on it has bigger issues with his or her approach to life than an overdeveloped sense of irony. Hell, if that's an acceptable price for a T-shirt, champ, hold off on the new schwag for a month and get a real vest.
Thats just asking for some bright spark to say will it stop this as he shoots you!
Actually, I kinda like the brooch.
But I'm all tactical that way. :)
What is goofy on a gun-fearing weenie becomes all hip and self-referential when worn by me. :-D
Thats what makes humans so much fun...
Never an end to new ways of being stupid.

Naturally! You = 100x cooler than everyone else (just note that the brooch must be pinned directly to bare flesh for maximum impact)
Breda... I'm all for impact, but not for punching holes in Tam. She makes a fine impact without such adornment.
A wonderful example is this gorgeous black brooch. Intended to be worn over the heart, at first it seems like nothing spezial – unless you consider a black rose something special. But this spezial bloom is made of heavy duty ballistic nylon, turning it into a high-tech talisman for the tender hearted and a wry fashion statement.
WHAT fashion statement? And why "wry"?
I guess I'm too unsophisticated and ignorant to understand.
At least I'll save $175.00 by NOT buying it.

I reckon I'm a minimum effect kinda gal, then. ;)
I just found your blog today and, while I have no interest in guns, I have to say... I really like you. You know why? Because you use the word "gun" and not "firearm."
I have to agree with Tam though, the brooch is pretty neat.
