Little 6 month old Tighe had to be rushed to the vet today. He threw up, had a high fever and was listless. The vet thinks he has some sort of infection. He's on antibiotics now and is resting. We're taking one day at a time.
Could you all think some good thoughts for my sweet boy? Sacrificing a few mice to Bast would be a nice touch too, and greatly appreciated.
UPDATE: The x-rays were clear, no blockages in the intestines, lungs look good. The antibiotics seem to be helping.

I don't have any mice, but I have magpies everywhere...would those work?
I had a cat that sick once, turns out she chewed up a bunch of rubber bands.
He is in my thoughts, give him some love for me.
I'm so sorry! I hope he feels better very soon. My pups send "woofs" of encouragement.
lydia - nope, no rubber bands, or anything else, in the xrays.
& thanks, Christina!
had a dog once that ate one of my wife's elastic hair "scrunchies". After many hours of the dog in agony, what followed was canine abdominal surgery and a few inches of resected small intestine. Dog was fine. My wallet wasn't.
Hope tighe is on the mend.
Glad to read little Tighe is on the mend. :)
Best kitty wishes coming your way.
My lab likes to lick cats. not eat them, just lick them because he likes cats. Funny dog, but the cats who used to live with us loved it....
Wish I could loan him to you for a day to raise your cats morale.
Hope he's OK. Cats are resilient. I swear they really do have 9 lives from what I've seen my aunts cats survive.
I'll do that.
(Did you name him after a colonel on BSG?)
EBM - thanks! & Tighe is an Irish name I've always liked, plus the fact that it sounds like "tiger" made it perfect for a kitten who is part Bengal.
I've never seen BSG! =)
I hope he continues to recover. I just found out that my little guy still has worms after two rounds of de-worming.
oh, I hope he's better. No mice here but a chocolate lava cake was sacrified in his honour..
