For strength

I'll put this as delicately as possible to avoid offending any delicate sensibilities. It's the new moon and I, regular as the tides, was up during the night alternately wishing for a morphine drip and battling a confused kitten who still sleepily pushes his way under the covers so he can try to nurse.

I finally fell asleep at 6 AM, curled up in an armchair in the living room, reading Pratchett's Mort. I think I might even remember some of it.

I was up by 7:30 and made it to work at 9. Stopped at the grocery store on my way home at 1 to pick up a few things to make myself a sandwich, which in truth was only an excuse to get to this:

And now, naptime. Guinness - it is good for you.

(better blog tomorrow, promise.)

When my British aunt was pregnant the Dr.(s) advised her to drink a glass of Guinness a day, it was good for her and the baby's health - it has vitamins you know.

SYMPATHY all over the place from Memphis.

While I was getting my tattoo yesterday, I was kind of happy, because the pain in my arm was distracting me from the pain elsewhere.

Booze makes my cramps worse. Boo.

Hope you feel better!
