Yeah!

I recently discovered Penn & Teller's Bullshit series. (old news to the rest of you who have televisions and cable, I'm sure) I've been watching them on youtube and look what I found! One on gun control!

Heh. That's the episode that got me hooked on Penn & Teller.

The fifth season wasn't as hot as the others, though. I hope they didn't jump the shark.

The gun control one is good... the PETA one is better. The best one they ever did, IMO.

Sadly, ibex is right... their ratio of great episodes to bad ones has been steadily declining. I think their problem is their subject matter- they're running out of things that are easily debunkable in half an hour or television.

Bullshit! is a font of good information. The episode on the funeral industry is eye-opening to say the least.

Awwww, DARLING!!! Welcome to the cool kids club! I've been a fan of Bullshit ever since I saw the very first episode. I have a bunch of them on my external hard drive to play on my iPod. If you have a way to play them, I could kindly email you a few of them! :-D

Penn and Teller, and especially Penn, are a very strong libertarians. Although their death penalty episode is not in line with "company" doctrine. I really like Penn's tell it like it is personality, regardless of his politics!

Oops, sorry double post! I don't know how the tall guy gets so much work done. He does the show, then his radio show, then a magic show at Rio, and then miscellaneous stuff too... I wish I had that kind of work ethic! Ha ha

Breda, yeah, if you have a video iPod. If not, you can play them on iTunes, and it's free to download.

The full three videos (about 30 minutes total) of that episode are very good. I do not get Showtime, so thank you for posting that.
