A mouse!
Or at least I think it was a mouse. There really wasn't enough of it left over for a definite ID. I found what might have been a teeny mouse butt and part of a tail on the living room carpet.
And Tighe strutted around all night, licking his chops and looking very pleased with himself.

Sounds like Tighe's just doing his job.
Usually they leave the jaws and claws.
You had me going there for a minute. Thank God for the cat heh? I thought you were going to say the mouse went down in a spray of bullets from your trusty handgun and now you need info on fixing the holes in the floor.
When my wife sees rodents, spider or snakes she's looking for the nearest gun.

Joe
One afternoon I went to pour a bowl of raisin Bran and instead i poured a mouse into my bowl. I hollered for Dockie, Doctor Noodles, our little calico, She came running out of the bedroom and was on that mouse like a three legged kangaroo in church. She took her time killing it and then carried that dead mouse around with her all afternoon. A trophy she wanted every one to see.
Hopefully it wasn't your "of mice and men" mouse.
