Today, a harried patron called me a "ninja librarian" because yes, folks...I am just that good at my job. (even at 5:50 PM on a Friday)
I believe such exemplary service deserves a reward, don't you?
...and honestly? this is a far better IPA than a mere reference librarian deserves. This is like war hero caliber IPA. If you see it at your grocery store, buy it! (before I drink it all)

Full Sail makes some excellent brews.
Wish I could get it here.
Heh. I live less than 100 miles from the Full Sail Brewery...
Damn I love Oregon.
Is that a local one B?
Meself, I'm splurging on a Smuttynose (unfiltered) IPA, out of Portsmouth NH.
Slainte!
wow, i just tried that very same beer a few weeks ago. i rather enjoyed it.
Breda,
If you deal with the public and can remain polite about it, you ARE a "Hero Librarian".
(Now quick, someone use Soviet-era style graphics to make up a Breda poster that says "Hero Librarian"!)
First time I saw the pic, I thought it said "Full Snail".
I imagine you have this then?
Joseph, more than that, she's a Stakhanovite Librarian!
A friend likes IPA and his current favorite is Blue Heron, from BridgePort Brewery in Oregon. Myself, I favor dark and amber ales. Living in the Great Northwest has many benefits. Such as Rogue Dead Guy Ale, which despite being inspired by a Mayan holiday always puts me in mind of Oingo Boingo.
I just got a sixpack night before last, on your recommendation. Not bad.
I've only had Full Sail a couple times. Its very hard to find in the Fort Campbell area. Generally, the best I can find is Newcastle Brown Ale. However, if you want bourbon, this is the place to be! lol
