a woman's woman

What is often called her “confidence” is actually a rarity in national politics: I saw a woman who knows exactly who she is.

- Elaine Lafferty,
Democrat, feminist activist, and former
editor-in-chief of Ms. magazine...on Governor Palin in her article titled "Sarah Palin's a Brainiac."*

*watch the video, too. It's a bit long but so worth it - Sarah is totally on her game. Also, did you know that despite all of his claims for "equal pay for equal work" Barack Obama pays his female staff only 83 cents for every dollar that he pays his male staff? $9000 less every year.

On equal rights for women, Obama is all talk while John McCain walks the walk. No surprise - Barack has a pretty miserable history when dealing with women.

It should be amazing when leftists don't live by their own principles.

But then, that's why we on the right actually believe that leftists have no principles.

Quite typical of Obama. Everything that comes out of his mouth is meant to apply to other people.

Thanks for the link. I watched the whole speech. Palin is an excellent public speaker.

Also impressive were the women on the podium behind her: two members of the Democratic Platform Committee and two officers of NOW, plus a founder/editor/publisher(?) of Ms Magazine. I'm impressed that they were able to look beyond their liberal credentials and support Palin; that took guts. You know that they are going to be ostracized. Pilloried. Shunned.
