As for the holster. Everyone probably either doesn't see it or just assumes it's a cell-phone holder. You should strap on a Blackhawk Serpa and see if anyone notices.

Exactly what kind of holster do you use? I carry a S&W 442 J-frame in a pocket holster.

The pocketknife is a Gerber Paraframe and the holster is a JBP sleeping dog holster.
I didn't vote for that color, but the results are completely satisfactory.

Aw... I was waiting for vampy red :-) Looks good though! Interesting place to carry your knife, most folks I know favor the back edge of the pocket.

My knife of choice is a Kershaw Liner-lock. Sadly they don't make them anymore. People seem to be crazy about the Ken Onion line, but I still prefer the liner.

NFO - I wear the knife there because it's the most comfortable place; it kind of sits in the curve of the hip, you know? (and the polish is darker in real life. I think the flash makes it look more red)

Even though gunmetal gray is spectacular, you just can't go wrong with a little hot red once in a while.
Can't go wrong with red nails, or gerber knives.
Though, I don't paint my nails and carry a gerber applegate-fairbairn covert folder.

Went to a steakhouse for dinner with the Mom last week, and a waitress was wearing a knife clipped inside her pocket like that. She was hot, too, but working a different section, so I never got to talk to her ( & ask her what kind of knife) before we left. :-(
Oh well, I liked the food, so I guess I'll just have to go back, eh?
