Pax

It was such an honor for me to co-host last night's Gun Nuts Radio because Kathy Jackson has long been one of my heroes. Her website, The Cornered Cat, is one of the places where my journey into the world of firearms, self-defense, and gunblogging began.

Hear my story, and the entire interview with Kathy here. Make the women in your life listen - it could be the thing that changes their mind about carrying and ultimately saves their life.

Last night's show was TOTAL WIN. The only possible way it could have gotten better would have been if Meleanie Hain could have joined you guys...

Excellent show. I hope you don't mind, I wrote up a review on my blog. If you have a moment, let me know what you think and if my words reach out to the people I really want to (like my own wife ;-).

Hi Breda,

First I'd like to say that I really enjoy your blog; it has a place of honor on my desktop along with Xavier, Brigid and the USCCA. My wife will soon be joining the ranks of CCW folks (just got her a S&W 442). I really appreciate reading intelligent, articulate blogging - keep up the good work!!

Good listen. I've burned it to a CD and am going to ask my wife to consider listening to it.

What's with this directive of yours: "Make the women in your life listen"? I thought you can't make another adult do stuff. ;)

LOL Maybe I should rephrase that. "Ask the women in your life to listen. Very politely"

Kathy rocks the house.

She's been my hero for years.

I enjoyed that a lot. Kathy's one of my heroes, too.

I guess I've been lucky with the gun stores I frequent. No clerk has ever tried to hand me a twenty-two or a revolver. In fact our best buddy Ken at the Bullet Hole tried for a year to get me to go up to a 9-mm or a .40; last week I fell in love with a Kahr K9 and traded in both my .380's to get it.

Valentine's Day at the range... Sweet.
