sorry but...
...I spent 8 hours alone with all the hobos and weirdos at the reference desk today and I'm not quite sure I have two brain cells left to rub together to create that essential blog-writing spark.

In many ways, you are just like one of us teacher folk. You have to deal with whoever walks up and asks for help, stay professional, and you are never allowed to beat them senseless no matter how right it would be.

Thanks for what you do Breda- I sure couldn't do it...
Man, I could NEVER work in a library. I get frustrated with the public that I have to deal with in my regular line of work.
It could be worse- I told you where my hobos and weirdos put things.
