buck up, buttercups.

First, go read my friend PDB's blog post, then watch this video.

There is hope for this country yet - and it is us.

It takes PDB, a suspected Canadian, to set us straight...

Suspected hell. You've heard him say "about".

Well done.

Oh, geez, I needed that.

That is so exactly what I needed this morning. Thank you.

By Golly, Breda, I hope you can surmount this. I know ... I shouldn't be looking to you this way ... being a Canuck and all that ... but this has all the earmarks of a total failure for the world's best experiment and ... if you go ... the rest of us aren't far behind.

I know full well that Canada's model of 'universal' health care is not for the US. But this travesty of the Democrats is just that ... a naked grab by them for all controlling power ... disguised as health reform, deficit reduction and ... incredibly ... fewer student loans.

Regards.

PDB says "aboot"? No worries there; we can take him for a SouthEast Alaskan, especially if he wears socks with sandals and ocassionally says "eh?", while loving guns, beer, freedom, and fishing.

Thanks, Breda.

Spot on! Bravo!

I wonder if any of those who would oppose freedom are as cognizant now as Yamamoto was regarding there being a rifleman behind every blade of grass.

I do hope it doesn't go that far, just the same.

You know Ms. Breda I saw the quote below on another blog I frequent and I resonated...

“The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave. Besides, sir, we have no election. If we were base enough to desire it, it is now too late to retire from the contest. There is no retreat but in submission and slavery!”

Sorry, I cannot become inspired by a bunch of mostly ultra leftist loons spouting off tough sounding prattle. Yeah, so a few were conservatives. All were actors though and all were speeches from movies. The left and Hollywood do not inspire me. This is probably the video that Nancy Pelosi listened to every night while trying to pass health care reform.

If we lived in the real world, instead of a fantasy world of modern Hollywoood entertanment, we would not be in the fix in which we now find ourselves. The folks on the left are the type who eat this stuff up and take it to heart and use it to their advantage as being real. Hollywood fluff is just that and we on the right need the real world to give them a wake up call - we don't need fluff.

Give me some real life speeches or actions for inspiration. Maybe the words of Ronald Reagan the president not the actor, the words of Winston Churchill, the words and actions of a soldier in Iraq or Afghanistan, the words of Margaret Thatcher. Those might inspire me.

All the best,
Glenn B

Then perhaps you should spend your time reading and commenting on blogs other than this one, Glenn.

It will be a tough fight.

What we MUST stop is what I suspect will be the next "change" to be crammed down our throats, immigration reform with amnesty.

We cannot let the Liberals create +10 million new votes for themselves or our battles at the ballot box will be much harder to win.

If this occurs, the ballot box might no longer be an option for where this fight must go.

If you need speeches from real people you need look no farther than our Founding Fathers, in particular Patrick Henry, who was quoted here in a previous comment.

"I know not what course others may take, but as for me, give me liberty or give me death".

If you want to prepare for the fight ahead, look to your County Sheriff.

The County Sheriff is the ultimate law enforcement authority in their county. They can stop Federal Agents from acting in their counties.

Visit http://www.sheriffmack.com/

Sheriff Mack is a former sheriff who filed suit to stop the Feds from enforcing the Brady Bill and won with a US Supreme Court decision.

His book "The County Sheriff America's Last Hope" is worth reading and his No Sheriff Left Behind campaign is worth supporting.

Work on getting supportive sheriffs elected.

Work on getting a supportive governor elected.

With the State National Guard and the County Sheriff on our team...or perhaps with us on their team as deputies....stopping the kind of "change" that is being forced upon us can be done, and within a legal framework.
