...because this isn't the sort of thing a seasoned police officer would do, right? (heh, "seasoned", get it?)
It's a good thing pepperball and tasers are being used more frequently in law enforcement - helps make negligence less lethal.

You're so punny!
Yes, obviously rookies. Here in Seattle this sort of things done by the top brass:

and we promote from within. Or rather at least Pres Obama does:

Is there any meaningful difference between a pepperball gun and a paintball gun?
jbrock - Higher velocity from the LE one, I gather. The OC rounds have a thicker hide than recreational paintballs so they act as a baton first and hot sauce second.
Jim
But remember - they are the Only Ones who should be allowed to carry firearms because they are professionals and would not constitute a danger to the general public!

Pictured is a Tippmann Pro-Carbine. Built like a tank, and actually has sights that worked decently (that says a lot for a PB gun, the usual axiom is: "accuracy by volume") I had one till I got stupid and sold it. But it got replaced by the Tippmann A5, with their gas driven auto-feeding hopper. But, sold that too for a Palmer's Blazer.
Man, now I gotta get out and play. :(
Paintball/pepperball same same... :-) I can just see some kid showing up at a paintball contest with it :-)
whoa, that's the tac model with 9volt electric trigger, does 3 shot and full auto and runs like $900. On the other hand a couple of 5 gallon buckets of the baby powder training rounds and the water rounds make for a fun weekend (Except for the bloody bruises.)
Whoever finds it might as well turn it in. By the time it become truly useful, we'll need more than pepperballs.
