anatomy for dummies

Did you know that there's this nerve in your neck and when it gets squished it creates a ceaseless agony in your head and face, causing you to alternately want to scream or cry or perhaps get so drunk you don't feel it anymore all while fantasizing about finding the bastard who rear-ended you and slowly hammering a long, thick, dull galvanized nail into the space between his eyeball and his eyebrow? Isn't the human body just amazing?

Chiropractor at lunch.

UPDATE: the man is a miracle worker.

I hope the chiropractor can provide some relief - I'm thinking the nail would be entirely too quick.

Isn't nerve damage just peachy?

This is why NASCAR drivers have their heads literally strapped to the headrest.

Sciatica pain was bad enough. I can't imagine a pinched nerve in my neck. I'm glad to hear the chiro did his magic.

So glad you are feeling better!

It's been about nine years since a lady in Mitsubishi Montero plowed into the back of my Ranger at 45 mph. I still deal with it too. I hope your recovery is smoother and more thorough than mine has been. Of course you look like your still a kid. Your cartelage probably hasn't hardened yet. Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.

I have an old injury from Disney on Ice, which means I get to direct all kinds of agony onto Disney characters because of the costumes that have caused me nearly ceaseless agony for the past 10 years.

I'm not crazy, I'm not crazy, I'm not cr-"DAMMIT, Lumiere!"

The pain club is not a happy place. (And it totally has put a crimp on my shooting practice! Grrrr.) Good luck, and may you be released from vertebral hell asap!
