glyph

(NSFW-ish)

On my way into work this morning, I found this scrawled on one of the library's back doors. I laughed, heartened to see that naughty adolescent graffiti has remained consistent throughout the centuries.

Who says that's adolescent graffiti at Pompei? When you have an illiterate populace, things like the "pubic triangle" become important symbols of commerce.

The Romans appear to be a very randy people. The clothing alcoves at the public baths there were reportedly labeled with mosaics depicting sex acts. Where did I leave my toga? Oh it's in Missionary Position.
