ripple effect

The Supreme Court's ruling on McDonald will probably save Cleveland from becoming a Little Chicago.

I sure hope it does, and I hope it strikes down the petty tyrants running amok here in Wilmington.

*thank god we have preemption in DE or Wilmington's laws would probably look much like Chicago's.

Good luck! I hope it helps. Now I want to know when the pro gun groups will get around to helping those of us in MA with the insane laws here. . . .

Why is it that when a city starts going down the hole all the politicians can think to do is make it worse?

Alan - That's easy. A city of criminals run by criminals. They're merely enhancing the working environment for themselves and their main constituents.

I can walk into a gun shop, point at the gun I want, fill out a form (and wait for a phone check), and walk out of the shop with a gun and a big load of hollow point ammo.

I pay for that privilege by having to live in the most horrifically crime-infested state in the union.

Did I say most? I meant least.

Remember what Churchill said: "This not the beginning of the end.....but it is the end of the beginning."

Unfortunately, I live here in the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia; the only state I have ever been to that inspects your vehicle as you come in.

Maybe one day we will be able to enjoy the bill of rights too, but for now we must resist as we can.

Friend instinct, vote with thy feet. The way things are going out their, well, "Resistance is Futile" said The Borg.

Yeah, just finishing my grad degree (computer animation and game design) and then the wife and I are praying for a job anywhere but here.

Friend instinct, be careful what you wish for. What are your plans if the only jobs that are available are in Boston, or NYC, or CHICAGO?
