Does anyone have just a few spare rounds of ammo for one of these? (.38 S&W, I think?)

I have a very special gun that I need to shoot. (& yes, there's a story to go along with it.)

I have paypal...let's make a deal.

I think I have a handful of them -- old stuff. I'll take a look when I get out to the loading shack later this morning.

I have a full box I bought years ago for an old top break revolver I never did get working. 38S&W in a green and white box, Remington I believe. It is yours for the asking. Call it my contribution to the "Tip Jar".
Just not sure how to get it there from AZ.

Fiochi makes brand new stuff. I have a couple of boxes sitting on the ammo shelf. If you really need it shipped, as opposed to buying your own, let me know via phred02 AT hoTMail dot com . We'll work out the financial details then.

stay safe.

You know that if Paypal figures out you're using it to purchase ammo, they'll block the transaction and possibly freeze your accounts right?

Paypal is as anti-gun as you can get. Are you familiar with what happened last year with Soldier's Angels and the gun raffle being held at the GBR?

Have you considered GPal as an alternative?

GPal was started by the founders of the Calguns forum and is about as pro-gun as Paypal is anti-gun.

I've had an account with them pretty much since they began. They've had some reported "growing pains" types of issues, but I've never had a problem with them.

Their service works and they are expanding their offerings regularly. I recommend you give them a try (or at least open an account and offer it as an alternative for those of us who refuse to support an anti-gun company like Paypal): http://gpal.net

I've got plenty.

I can send you some if one of the above deals falls through.

Turns out my stash is tiny, 12 rounds, and grungy. Probably not worth the shipping cost. But it's yours if you want it.

If everyone else falls through, I have some rounds, I could spare you 100 or so. Without making my stash look much smaller. My first carry gun was, a H&R Defender .38 in that caliber.

Just bought three boxes of new .38 S&W for my mother-in-law last month from Sportsman's Guide. About $30 a box. Check the website to see if they still have it in stock.

Actually, this is probably cahmbered for .38 Long Colt-the dimensions are the same as .38 Spl-just shorter. If it is a "Police Positive Special", it will take .38 Spl. 38 Colt ammo is available. .38 S&W is too fat- will not fit.

.38 Short Colt, .38 Long Colt, or .38S&W - which is it? Got a box of each I'll let out the door for my cost ($17.25, $19.68, and $20.46 respectively) + UPS shipping charges, whatever they turn out to be. Your credit is good here so I can speed 50 of whatever you need in a day or so.

Don't everybody try to bum rush me - I only have a few boxes and am making the offer in order to speed along delivery of the story. The rest of you vultures go stimulate the economy and pay current retail.

stay safe.

Buffalo arms also sells .38 Long colt, if anyone needs some.

You still need some? I've got a few boxes of .38 S&W I inherited along with Dad's Colt Police Positive, and it gives me the warm fuzzies to help someone feed an heirloom. Drop me a line at my user name at yahoo. (I rarely check the gmail account that I comment from)

Wish I'd seen this sooner; .38S&W is one I reload. Got lots of it.
