There's a guy down in NC who sells refurbished deuce-&-a-halfs (-halves?). Pretty cheap, too. I wanted to check with him about a nice M-109 shop van. Not much on creature-comforts, hell on fuel, but DEFINITELY top-dog in adverse (bumper-car)traffic situations :-D

WV: apitaph. No kiddin'.

Unfortunately, for our neck of the woods, I'd recommend a good used Subaru Forester wagon. Good in snow with the AWD, decent gas mileage, plenty of room in the back for Long Guns, yet still easy to maneuver in the parking decks. Food for thought....

B Smith - my dad was a Pershing CW2 in Germany in the 70s/80s and his mobile "office" was a M109 shop van!

Bubblehead Les - my petite wife looked at a Subaru and it was difficult for her to lower the rear hatch as Subaru doesn't offer a power assist, nor does it have a pull strap.

@ Eric: I was a Vulcan repairer (27F), and my office was also a -109, for a while :-)

WV: fings. They ain't what they used to be.
