But wait, there's video.http://actinglikeanimals.com/2010/07/14/funny-animal-photos-timmy-the-tortoise-finds-love/
Cute and sad at the same time...
Even turtles need plastic girlfriends...
Makes you look at the Real Doll a little differently.
Jeez, you two! Way to ruin a touching, tender moment.
Nice to see the old geezer getting some companionship even if only a dummy that he can adore. I could only wish my male Hermann’s Tortoise paid attention to my female Hermann’s Tortoise like that. My male pays almost no mind to my female. I have had the female for a few years, since she was about a year old, and she is probably well ready to breed by now. I just got the male a couple of months back. I am hopeful, that next spring, after hibernation, they will be well acquainted with one another, well enough to do what comes naturally in the springtime. If you would like to see a pic of both of them you can go here to my blog: http://ballseyesboomers.blogspot.com/2010/05/hermanns-tortoises-got-new-one.htmlAll the best,Glenn B

Heh. Post title reminded me of seeing 'Inception' over the weekend. I just couldn't help a stage-whispered, "...That bwessed awangement, That DWEEM within a DWEEM..."
