but he's good on guns!

Nope. Still not voting for you, Ted.
You can take your NRA endorsement and shove it.

I look at gun rights as a litmus test of sorts, but it's only part of it.

Why should I trust that someone will protect my gun rights when they clearly show contempt for the rest of my rights? Someone who will crap all over individual liberties but pay lip service to the 2nd Amendment will eventually treat the 2nd the same as he does my other liberties.

So, do either you (Bubblehead Les) or Breda have a useful alternative.

I don't beleive that I can vote for Kasich (can't take any hits against CCW which is just starting to be what we want it to be after 19 years), if I don't vote for Ted or Kasich, what options do I have left besides "spoil the ballot"?

"________ can take his NRA endorsement and shove it" is starting to become a recurring theme as of late.

Think NRA will stop marginalizing itself by taking the Lesser of Two Evils way out? Don't get me wrong; I'm a card-carrying member myself. I am getting tired of NRA taking lemons and making lemonade.

Not much choice out there this year. The Dems give us Leon Trotsky that has a perfect record on guns while the Republicans give us a pure Constitution hating anti.

Not sure what I will do but whatever it is will not involve a hater like Kasich.

At least in the AG race, the Pro-gun Dem Cordray doesn't seem to be as much of a polituburo fan and is opposing Ted Kennedy wannabee Mike DeWIne.

Maybe next time the ORP will flush the RINO bowl before they start dipping out candidates.

FatWhiteMan,

Geeze, that almost sounds like I am writing to myself!

I think I WOULD vote for Leon Trotsky before I would vote for Mike DeWine.

Republicans had to be really stupid to put up Kasich this year, too. The ONLY thing he has going for him is he isn't Bob Taft.

Of course, Bob Taft couldn't get electeded dog catcher of Taftville after the hammering he took there at the end, compared to what he wanted to do, stepping up to Washington from Columbus.

Looks like it is another "hold your nose and vote" deal again this year, and it looks like it will be Ted over Kasich for me.

I am considering not voting in an election for the first time since I turned 18. How sad is that. I can't vote for Ted as he is moron and John scares me as he is firmly in big businesses pocket. I guess I will vote for Ken Matesz the Libertarian and just throw my vote to the wind.

Voting for Strickland because Kasich isn't conservative enough doesn't make sense.

Vote Ken Matesz (L) for governor, Feldman (L) or Owens (C) for AG. Really, unlike the Feds, OH has not been such a disaster that we HAVE to kick the Dems out, nor are their R replacements any real improvement. So you have nothing to lose by voting for a non-government-approved party.

True sometimes but we are going to have some important CHL revisions like SB239, parking lot storage and probably even more gun stuff come up in the next four years and we can't afford to have an anti like Kasich holding the pen.
