instalanche!

Well, Glenn Reynolds linked to my little blog today and I've gotta tell you - it's both a blessing and a curse.

Your first thought is all, "Whoohoo! I've hit the blogosphere jackpot! My hit counter is a blur! More readers! Yay me!"

"Oh, no. People are reading me," usually follows shortly thereafter.

As an extra fun bonus though, you start getting comments from people who are completely unfamiliar with your blog. A guy who calls himself Android, for instance, not only went completely off topic but also seems to lack a sense of humor :
"This really cant be a basis for policy preference. B/c he looks like a dork or a father screwing around on his kids bike really cant be a substantive basis to favor or not favor a president. Carter was a dork but people now seem him as an effective president."
Ah, the internets...where any weirdo with a keyboard can say any stupid crap they want. Even me.

So thanks for reading, folks. I'm honored.

Carter *was* effective.

At running the US straight into the ground.

Jay beat me to it.

Seeing "Carter" in the same sentence as "effective President" made me choke on my coffee.

Um...specifically WHO now sees him as an effective President?

Maybe he was speaking relatively... as in: "In comparison to Obama, many now see Carter as an effective President".

I hope that's what he meant anyway.

Jay - "It all depends on what the definition of "is" is, or in this case "effective."

Congrats Breda! You have arrived to the big time!

Carter. Effective president.

I don't know, Breda, seems like he's got a sense of humor to me 'cause he had to be joking when he said that.

Awe, come on guys. The weirdo with a keyboard is right. Carter was an effective president. He was very effective in providing us with scaffolding for a later president to build on to complete the journey to our current age of utopia.

Ugh. I think I just popped a hernia in my head.

Just watch for Barry to put on the Cardigan, friends, just watch for the Cardigan. Oh, and Congrats on making it to the Big Time! So when are you scheduled to go on Hannity's Great American Panel? Let us know in advance so we can set the DVR. Just think, Ohio's Own Pundit!

Well, Carter DOES look like an effective President when he's compared to our current yutz...

Carter probably looks like an effective President to someone who wasn't alive at the time and only has the "history" lessons from school to go by.
