Just walked in the door and Mike said, "Whoa. You look just like Gwen from Torchwood."
That's me - outside the government, beyond the police.
I'd say the new haircut is a win.

This requires the obligatory "pics or it didn't happen"
This post is useless without pictures.
Hopefully you don't have that prominent gap between your front teeth...although on Gwen it's kinda hot.
Of course you need to tell Mike that if you're Gwen, he must be Rhys. ;-)
They can put a cute little gap in your front teeth at the hairdresser now?
Word verification: defusine
Gwen is defusine the bomb. She is saving Captain Jack once again.
Yeah, but unlike Gwen, you're willing to actually pull the trigger ...
We're Torchwood fans here, but think it's pretty funny that only the American will actually shoot anything.

I've never seen Torchwood, but that sounds about right.
Borepatch, I noticed that too!
MikeW- watch Torchwood!
Watch Torchwood.....
Well, I do like the fact that the American's (Capt. Jack) English Daughter WAS smart enough to grab a knife and a cutting board to GET a gun from the SS types that were tracking her and her son down...Ooohps! Did I spoil part of an ending from a show thats been off the air for 2 years? Sorry!
There was a 5 episode mini-season that aired last summer. Disappointingly short, but a very strong story.
The show is currently in pre-production for a fourth season as a co-production between BBC and the Starz cable network. Never fear, Russel Davies is still in charge and, avoiding spoilers, the cast is what it should be. Shooting starts in January, episodes should start airing mid summer. This will be another short season - 10 episodes - but will also be one big story arc like season 3.
So... not off the air yet.
Speaking of Capt. Jack being the only one to shoot things: have you ever noticed his grip? http://bit.ly/dARl4b
What do you even call that?
Pics please :-)
Re, the grip.
Looks like some bizarre variation of the teacup grip and a game of twister.
John scot Barrowman "Capt Jack" was born in Scotland in 1967 and moved to the USA when he was nine.
Not to cross memes, but "I'll be in my bunk!"
