3GS, legit

I finally got a real iPhone, with a 2 year contract, a data plan, and everything. It even takes video! I had been limping along, using phone cards on a jailbroken 2G that had a messed up digitizer because somebody (a certain cat who shall remain nameless) dumped a glass of water on it.

While happily playing with all the new functions - internet & email EVERYWHERE! - I discovered that I can make folders of related apps. It made my little librarian brain squee in delight.

And, yes...the folders (including Reference and Reference2) are all alphabetized, as are their contents. Don't judge me.

I may have to do the same on my phone. Does the 3gs have facetime?

I won't judge you for the organization. I'll judge you for the phone.

My son just got the latest-and-greatest iPhone. Does a lot of pretty neat stuff. He's bugging me to upgrade my original iPhone, but I just don't have the $$ right now, being unemployed and all....

Breda, it's perfectly understandable to want to be organized. Why would anyone have a problem with that?

Favorite reference apps?

What, no app to organize all the others? :P

One app to rule them all, one app to find them, one app to bring them all and in the iPhone bind them.

Alphabetized? I thought you used the Dewey Decimal System? ; )

I've been known to pull up a catalog record on my phone rather than write down a call number before I head into the stacks to help a student find something...
