"Girls Rifle Team of Drexel Institue of 1925". 85 years later, and they have been replaced by the "The Girls iPhone Text Squad". I Soooo hate living in the Last Days of a Declining Civilization, don't you?
Interesting collection of rifles there; I like the one third from the left; it looks like it is being held together with old-time electrical tape. (Duct tape wasn't invented until the early forties)

Hmmm... some of them look happy, and some of them look like they want to beat me up.
@bluesun. Don't be silly, they don't even KNOW you. :D
Am I the only one hearing a Nickelodeon version of "Girls With Guns"?

Guns in DC? Unpossible!
Glad to know another fan of "The 100-Year-Old Blog."
And there are at least two other pictures there, posted some time ago, of 1930s D.C. public high-school Girl's Rifle Team[s] practicing.

Numbers 2, 5 & 7 appear to have the bolts closed, pointed up toward their heads. Bad form, some of our more pitnicky readers might opine.
Number 4 has no firearm, and what's with the price tags on the coats for ladies #2 & #3?
"Archie" will be born 1 year after that picture and within a mile or two of that location.
